Charlie Brear is an independent, high-end luxury brand specialising in designing and producing directional collections for the style aware bride.

We are looking to recruit a Retail Manager to join our small, close-knit team at this very exciting time, in our London showroom. The Retail Manager will work under our Managing Director to support the day to day running of the showroom and management of the sales team, as well as being an ambassador for the brand and offering a high level of customer service to all clients.

The role will include:

Ensuring visual merchandising, replenishment of stock and general showroom standards are perfectly maintained inline with company guidelines.

Developing/monitoring targets. Driving sales and increasing turnover, by motivating the sales team and proactively seeking new opportunities for growth.

Reconciliation of all weekly, monthly and quarterly sales figures. Weekly reporting to the Managing Director and the rest of the retail team.

Taking one-to-one appointments with brides and offering flawless customer service from first booking to wedding day and beyond.

Managing all showroom staff, ensuring they are correctly performing all general duties and specific tasks relating to their roles and the showroom.

Ensuring brand customer service standards are always met, consistently analyzing and improving all processes and procedures, including bookings, scheduling, after care follow up, etc to guarantee the best customer experience possible.

Assisting with set up and running of company events (including designer days, styling events and private sales events.

The role will also incorporate all duties involved in the general day-to-day running of a luxury retail showroom, including housekeeping, sundry ordering and managing rotas.

This is a challenging and varied position, but will give the right candidate the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the retail growth and development of an innovative and inspirational brand. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at supervisor/mid-management level, preferably within the luxury retail market. Given our clientele and product, our staff must be impeccably presented and able to deliver a friendly and mature level of customer service. Due to the nature of our appointments, which involve helping female clients to undress, we regret this role is only suitable for female applicants. As we are a small company, a positive, can-do attitude, good organizational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and support other departments is key
