PANDORA, AREA MANAGER
PANDORA, AREA MANAGER
HERTS & ESSEX (5 STORES)
Field based but commutable to Head Office, Stevenage
Excellent salary + area performance bonus + company car + pension
Our client Van Kloof Limited successfully operates under franchise a growing portfolio of PANDORA stores within the Northern Home Counties, mainly located in Hertfordshire and Essex.
In line with their future investment vision, they believe the time is now perfect to appoint the company’s first Area Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and direction to their PANDORA retail franchise stores.
The challenge going forward is to ensure that every established outlet delivers to the brand owner the precisely required level of franchisee promise, and that no store detail, however seemingly insignificant, is left to chance.
You will benefit greatly from ongoing assistance both from Van Kloof Limited and PANDORA, whose mission is to continue successfully to grow their stand-alone brand stores throughout the Northern Home Counties.
Your future Senior Management colleagues are fanatical about their areas of career specialism, stock ordering and overall operational detail; the plan now is to invest in an Area Manager who, with his or her constant presence in the field, can draw together each site’s particular strengths in order to achieve the collective business growth ambition.
This is a truly field-based Area Management role; the stores to be covered currently are in the key shopping destinations of: Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Stevenage, St. Albans and Hemel Hempsted.
Supporting your Managers and staff at every location, you will instill the need for a high level of compliance to the group’s exacting standards, be it as regards product knowledge, merchandising standards, or the implementation of corporate special events and trade marketing initiatives.
Your sphere of influence will extend beyond the standard areas of transactional trading; after sales customer care and support must also be provided in-store with consummate professionalism, and not escalated elsewhere.
With your engaging persona, you will win hearts and minds in order to drive sales accomplishment levels ever skywards. Never aloof, you will at a moment’s notice happily step into any management void, relishing the opportunity of a more in-depth and hands-on experience of the store, to identify any further areas of performance which may require future positive action.
Leading an Area team of over fifty staff, you will be called upon not just to inspire, support and train each individual, but also to formulate development plans for those high achievers who consistently perform above and beyond the norm.
You will be genuinely enthusiastic about recruitment, understanding that every store and every role within your remit deserves to be filled by the very best sales talent available. The opportunities for all concerned to grow their professional capabilities to the next level cannot be bettered in any other brand or career placement.
Alongside maximizing sales and store standards to the highest level, you will also be keen to work ever more closely with the ultimate brand owners, with whom you will regularly liaise in-store and throughout your area.
Reporting directly to the group’s Managing Director, you will already have been an outstanding Store Leader, and who has perhaps been responsible for a number of retail sites within an area or region. A high degree of computer literacy is a must; previous experience working with the Bransom System will be an advantage.
If you believe you meet the above exacting criteria, we would welcome the opportunity of an initial discussion to ascertain whether it will be opportune for us to promote your application to our client.
In the first instance please forward your CV to Jolyon Marshall here at JML. Preliminary personal discussions will take place in Hertfordshire very soon.
