Made to Measure Specialist - APAC
The Made to Measure Specialist (MTMS) will be a key driver and senior leader for the Asia Pacific business during this period of growth and investment internationally for the brand. As part of the Senior Team, you will be a Commercial leader in the brand with a clear vision, pushing forward in the global retail market place.
Reporting into the Managing Director for APAC, the MTMS will be accountable for managing the entire Made to Measure proposal for the brand in Asia.
Key Accountabilities:
-Manage the whole Made to Measure function across Asia Pacific retail
-Partner with the Managing Director to create the business plan and strategic growth plan for Made to Measure in APAC to support the strategy for the brand internationally.
-Commercially drive the Collection Worldwide by building solid relationships with Franchise Partners, internal and external stakeholders
-Manage Franchise relationships to ensure consistent brand representation across Asia Pacific
-Work in partnership with Global HQs to create and implement a Commercial strategy in line with Global brand vision
-Manage sales, P&L, budget and pricing as a commercial leader; challenge results where necessary, provide clear plans for improvement
-Develop and implement policies and procedures for in store colleagues
-Create training packages and deliver training for in-store colleagues to deliver first-class customer service within Made to Measure
-Work in partnership with internal Design teams to develop the collection where appropriate
-Work in partnership with internal Marketing teams to create/add to brand strategy for Asia
-Attend Trunk Shows, be a Brand Ambassador for driving Events, and Marketing/PR campaigns where appropriate
-Continue to conduct market analysis, feedback to Global Directors to ensure a constant review of strategy
Essential Experience Required:
-Extensive experience of managing China and/or Rest of Asia as a retail lead in Made to Measure
-Experience of managing Made to Measure in a European brand/European market - ideally with evidence of transferring this to China/APAC
-Understanding of, and demonstrable experience of managing Franchise Partner relationships internally and externally
-Credible experience of managing an existing customer portfolio
-Ability to partner with Global HQs in collaboration to deliver one clear strategy
-Experience of working in a distribution model
-An overall 360° view of Made to Measure - whilst having a specialist background including tailoring and VIP customer base, must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and leadership of logistics and quality programs
-Strength of management skills, business partner relationships to achieve results in a challenging driven market
-Experience, and track record of delivering centre of excellence training to internal and external partners.
-Ability to motivate, inspire and drive passion across teams
-Experience of leading strategic and ambitious projects
Preferred Requirements:
-Languages: Italian and English, Chinese language skills would be beneficial
-Hands on approach, flexible to working in a growing and dynamic culture
-Proactive in driving business decisions internally and externally
-Ability to travel extensively both across Asia and to Europe where necessary
