The first job role element is very much managing staff ( full & part time ) Sales Associates ensuring that they gain maximum HQ guidance , training and development to maximise sales output from whichever trading location.
You’d definitely need previous Supervisory / Management experience within a structured retail setting and be a gifted and deserved ‘ employee mentor ’ of whom colleagues will genuinely endeavour to impress and match pre-set store standards.
Your persona is one of well-placed self- confidence , able to problem solve and your communicational verve though it may be direct is clear to whomever the listening ear may be ; colleague staff , store host managers or indeed your line management team.
It isn’t necessary that your management influence has to have covered multiple sites - of more selection interest is your get up & go - passion for store’s giving constant best customer service / brand experience blended with your own career hunger to test and develop your future capability .
One of the additional spheres to this role would be being HQ based a couple of days a week - supporting the Directors in terms of managing stock inventory and controlling administration relating to your growing London based points of sale.
You would need therefore good administration skills particularly operating Excel spreadsheets.
As to rota(s) it is likely that you would wish to be in the retail theatre at least one weekend in four but flexibility is definitely a requirement / expectation from our client such is the variety of tasks and the pace they envisage the company to continue to grow.
