-Drive Store Managers to achieve exceptional levels of customer service. Ensure all Store/Area Managers are taking constant action to improve and enhance service levels and actively promoting clientelling in stores
-Instil a culture of exceptional customer service within teams through management of Store Managers.
-Drive high levels of performance in Store Managers to meet and exceed KPI targets. Action plan and review all areas of underperformance and recognise good performance.
-Communicate regularly with key Head Office departments to reach KPI targets e.g. Merchandising, Retail Marketing, HR etc. and plan visits to improve efficiencies/ relationships between HQ and stores
-Proactively manage the relationship with Department Stores driving key sales opportunities and ensure cooperation on all concession objectives
-Update Head of Retail regularly on regional performance and on future strategies in monthly & quarterly business reviews
-Monitor monthly Area KPI reports and action plan to meet and improve on targets
-Utilise the information from Retail Operations to drive efficiency and meet cost targets in stores
-Complete all performance appraisals and business reviews and action plans on schedule
-Take action to ensure future business needs are met through effective succession planning. Train, recruit and induct new key store personnel as necessary.
-Plan key events such as Sale, Stock takes, Valentines and Christmas to all sales potential is maximised
-Ensure that security guidelines for premises, cash, stock and people are followed at all times by all stores and that health and safety policies are adhered to
-Coordination and management of new store openings where necessary
