Fashion Retail Management
Paying up to £37.58 per hour
The Fashion Retail Academy (FRA), founded in 2005, is the UK’s leading vocational FE Academy specialising in fashion and retail education. We have charity status and make it our mission to inspire and develop talent for a specialist career in fashion retail. In September 2016, the FRA became the only provider of further education in London, and third nationwide, to be awarded an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ across all areas of the current inspection framework.
We are a unique employer led college offering the quickest route to a career in fashion retail with three month to two year fast track Diploma and Degree courses across a range of head office functions including Buying, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Digital, E-commerce, Merchandising and Retail Management as well as a growing apprenticeship provision in the fashion and beauty retail sector.
Supported by and working closely with over 140 fashion brands, most of our courses include work placements, industry led projects and masterclasses as standard, with a multitude of additional course specific opportunities driven by our industry experienced tutors.
FRA’s strategy is to ensure we respond innovatively to employers’ needs and in doing so secure great jobs and university places for our graduates. Due to an expanding provision we are always on the lookout for Retail industry experts, professionals, freelancers and lecturers to join our growing team in central London.
If you have expertise in Buying, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Retail management and Apprenticeships and have experience of teaching and/or training and you are interested in teaching on a number of new and existing programmes with start dates from next term and September 2018, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for candidates with current operational knowledge of the fashion retail industry combined with current knowledge of theory and practice related to your specialist subject area.
We have a variety of teaching hours available to suit. You must hold a minimum of a PTTLS qualification or be willing to study towards one whilst working with the FRA. If you believe you have the expertise, drive, and passion for educating a new generation of industry professionals and you would like to join an innovative team of associate lecturers/dual industry professionals, get in contact with us now.
