Head of Retail
Established more than 50 years ago, our client is a family owned outdoor lifestyle apparel brand currently operating over 50 stores and concessions as well as a successful and fast growing online business. An extensive re-brand has laid the foundations for substantial growth plans over the next five years, with particular emphasis on the development of online and multi-channel capabilities. The aim is for the business to at least double in size over this period. A new leadership team has already been put in place to drive these ambitious investment plans which includes recruiting for newly created heads of Marketing, Merchandising and Retail to take the business to the next level.
Reporting to the Commercial Managing Director, the Head of Retail will be responsible for developing the retail strategy and roadmap which will be instrumental in helping the company achieve its five year strategic plan and financial goals. Identifying key business drivers for brand stores and outlets and profitably driving sales will be a key deliverable. The role has a broad remit with responsibilities ranging from developing a high performing retail team through to implementing best practice retail principles across their estate in an environment actively seeking positive change.
You will be an ambitious apparel retailer with a proven track record in driving growth in sales and profitability, as well managing multiple sites across a region. Ideally you will have experience of working for a lifestyle apparel retailer and be ready to step into this leadership role where you will help guide the business through this exciting period of investment and growth.
